Picture I like...

This picture was took on December of the last year in picarquin It shows my best friend and I in front of the “mysteryland” sign, mysteryland is a big party of three days and you can camp with friends and meet new people and dance all night long, some people drink lots of alcohol ( and drugs) and enjoy a very nice weekend, everything it’s very expensive $1.350 for a coca-cola but the music its excellent and the people too. I don’t have idea who takes this photo maybe a person who was taking a picture with the same sign. I like this photo because when with my best friend were child we promised go to that kind of parties when we have 18 and that day the dream was real we dance a lot and  we don’t eat nothing in three days ….

What I learned that weekend? Three days of party is a lot … for everyone.

The video talk about the whale beluga beached it shows they swim in big groups and make a lot of sounds to communicate between them after that they show a baby beluga beached separated of his mother and crying. It waits until the tide come back and returns to the water with his mom.

 The video is about the avalanche search dogs with the German shepherd an old man said  the most important is his sense of smell,  the dog is wearing a little red jacket  with the word “rescue”  it’s very tender see how the dog search in the snow, finally they show another dog’s breed finding a person under the snow.

 In National Geographic web page you can find a lot of interesting things about everything not only animals in subsection TELEVISION you can watch full episodes of the TV channel like brain games, how people live in extreme conditions and what can you do during an accident, programs about famous killers or natural things like the life of a pack of monkeys.  If you have a lot of time and you are boring visit this section and you will find a lot of contents to learn ( the page in general is for learn, but this section is focus like the TV channel)

 

Why do I want to be a vet?

When I was a child I want to  be a lot of things like a driver,  dentist or scientist because I like biology but I was sure about what I want to be when a were old….  I decided to study vet because  two vets in different days   ask me  if I were studying veterinary because I do thing that common  people can’t do to his pets ( disgusting things), so I Had no idea what study and my friends say “ maybe that’s your job”  It was not my first option when a finish high school. In the PSU I get the score for study Veterinary here in UChile but I wasn’t sure so I take one year to think about the career and maybe get more points in the test. After that I get more points and the moment arrive, I have to choose a career! There are a lot of universities and thousands of careers   I was afraid so I remember the thing that doctors said and I chose Veterinary in Uchile. Until now I like the faculty, the teachers, my classmates everything so I think I chose a good option. I don’t Have idea what kind of you I would like to have because there are a lot of options to do and work when a finish the career.

My favorite Piece of Technology

My favorite piece of technology is my telephone; It was a present of my parents for Christmas they hide my iPhone in a whisky box, at the beginning It was a weird present but when I opened  and saw my telephone It impressed me a lot
I use it for download apps; talk with my friends on Facebook, Facebook messenger, twitter, whatsapp, line, etc. I do facetime video calls with my dad when he travels, I check my emails and university stuff like U-cursos, when I drive I use my telephone with “waze” app it’s a social gps, I surf on the web and read the news but with my iPhone I don’t listen to music because I have an iPod to do that and I don’t play games because I have an Xbox to spend a lot of hours playing.
I think we can’t count the hours that we use the telephone It’s not like the computer or watch television in that case you have to sit and focus on the TV or pc. I use my telephone for a few minutes many times. I always will prefer an interesting conversation with a person.
I like my telephone because I can do a lot of things with the same thing, is very light and you can personalize with stickers or accessories. When I need a bigger screen I can use the iPad or Pc.
On vacation my dad likes to travel to the south of Chile in places where there isn’t mobile internet, Wi-Fi or sometimes  electricity , so I have to turn off my telephone and enjoy the nature and that’s great because I don’t miss to be online I think I can survive without technology in general.

 If your love your pet you will understand this, dog can communicate with other dogs and with humans too. It’s not an important conversation but they hear your volume and cadence and I think that is true when you are angry with your dog it  stay calm and maybe sad, when you are happy and talk with your dog “nice” it is happy and move his tail.

*dogs 101: it's very funny and talk about dogs and it's very short, sometimes they talk a lot of a breed and that's boring 

*animal cops: I love this tv show  beacuase it show how in EEUU they take care about animals. I wish that laws exist in Chile. 

*my cat from hell:  I disagree with people who can't control his animals, in this case cats, but it's a good show.

What’s my opinion about…

What’s my opinion about…?
1)    … legalizing marijuana?  I don’t have problems whit people who smoke marijuana, in my opinion is the same than cigars or drinking alcohol the problem appears when the people can’t stop smoking or drinking drugs in general. Cigars and alcohol are bad for people so legalize marijuana add another drug in the list of legal narcotics. 

2)    … Women in the military? Women and men can do the same thinks so I agree they can participate in military thinks, military for men is obligatory for women It has to be too .
 

3)    …the Chilean tradition called “mechoneo”?  I think mechoneo it’s a very old tradition of the old universities. It’s dangerous and humiliating.
 

4)    … Violence on television? I agree with violence on television because I know that is for keep people entertained in an adult schedule.
 

5)    … “Barras bravas”? I think people need something , I don’t know why or what,  but they find in “barras Bravas” maybe as a family or for keep their mind far away from job or stress in general. In my opinion everybody needs a distraction but people who dedicate his entire life to the “barra brava” need help.
